StageWrite Sequential Field Trips

An educator worked with StageWrite (contact@stagewrite.org) staff to develop a series of workshops that develop artistic skills, encourage collaboration with others, and expand storytelling options of youth through media.

Music Video Field Trip - Oakland Hebrew Day School

A group of students from Oakland Hebrew Day School in Oakland, CA wrote, composed, and performed their original composition about the difficulties of learning algebra during a Music Video field trip at Zeum. During their field trip the class was able to connect back to their classroom experiences in poetry and narrative writing/performance.

Clay Animation Field Trip - Head Royce

A group of students in the Head Royce Summer Program in Oakland, CA created this clay animation short featuring a group of skateboarders that are abducted by aliens, during a field trip at Zeum after completing an extended course in animation basics.

Junior Field Trip - OMI Head Start

A group of pre-kindergarten students from OMI Head Start in San Francisco, CA show off their clay creations and sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" after learning about body parts on a Junior Field Trip at Zeum
